Sony Ericsson has announced a new Cyber-shot handset at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas–Sony Ericsson C510 which has featured a 3.2-megapixel camera and Smile Shutter technology that detects a person’s smile and immediately takes the photo.The C510 is included in the Cyber-Shot line of Sony Ericsson,and boasts a 2.2-inch QVGA display,160 MB in-built memory, Dedicated shutter key, Illuminated imaging shortcut keys,Face detection, Photo fix, Direct blog short cut key, Smile shutter,Illumination by different theme/mode, Print service Snapfish, Blue illuminated imaging short cuts supporting GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 and UMTS/HSPA 850/1900/2100 and so on.

Sony Ericsson announced a new music phone called W995 in Barcelona on Feb 15^th 2009. W995 is kind of slide phone, and it was the combination of W908c and C905c. It provides a 2.6-inch 320×240 TFT screen, a 810MP auto-focus camera, a GPS, a 118MB of internal memory, a MicroSD card support(up to 8GB). The battery could be up to 240 minutes talk time and 360 hours standby time. No price info can be told now.

Based on info found on Mobile website, I get the news that the release date of Sony Ericsson X2 will hit on January 11, 2010. The phone uses Windows Mobile 6.5 operator system, as the same as X1. It provides a 3.5-inch WVGA /OLED screen, a 810MP auto focus camera built-in, a GPS, a 512 MB of internal memory. One point should be mentioned that X2 could be used in PS3 as remote control.
